Luyanzi Institute of Technology is located on 13 acres(52000sqm) of land and it is 6km from Kampala city Centre and 2.4km off the Kampala – Jinja highway at Bweyogerere Kakajjo – Buto Road. It is fully registered and licensed institute by Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda. A vibrant and quality centered professional Institute established as an intervention to support vocational and technical education. The institute has a well – trained, experienced, competent and committed teaching technical staff. The institute has several clubs to enhance students’ talents and also offers Chinese language to all students and arranges evening / weekend programmes for external learners. Tailor made programmes in Chinese lessons can be arranged for corporate at thier venues or at the Institute.

The institute is owned by well experienced and committed Ugandan and a Chinese with a strong vision of academic excellence and post – Institute life. The Advisory Board members are very senior and experienced technical educationalists. It offers certificates and diplomas in a number of detailed courses examined by Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) and Uganda Business Technical Examination Board (UBTEB) which include;

  • Chinese Language

This language teaching will boats the effective communication and strengthen the relationship between the people of the Republic of China and Uganda. Cultural exchange programmes will be accelerated to greater heights.

  • Cosmetology and Body Therapy

This course will create a platform to impart wisdom, inspire vision, minimize bad habits, and train students to perfect the details that many stylists overlook. This course is very essential in helping ladies to get self-employed.

This will generally look at hair cutting or styling in order to change or maintain a person’s image. This will be achieved using a combination of hair coloring, hair cutting and hair texturing techniques

  • Beauty therapy

Generally involves taking care of the skin, nails and hair for aesthetic enhancement. It also involves relaxation treatments, such as massages for muscles.

  • Catering and hotel management

It will generally involve learning management techniques that are applicable to hotel administration, marketing, catering housekeeping and maintenance. It will also involve trainings on how to cook both local and Chinese foods. In Uganda, there is an increase in the number of Chinese Companies and Chinese residents who may need good and excellent house keepers who can cook all their food types and properly speak Chinese language.

  • Fashion and Garment design

It will generally involve learning the basic fabric selection and garment construction as fashion design will require a good sense of texture, colour and fabric. Also learning how to construct more difficult pieces with speed and accuracy will be done
